Uses: Pest control in the house or garden Soil amendment Anti-caking agent in livestock feed. This non-toxic insecticide dehydrates insects by penetrating the waxy layers of exoskeletons (epicuticle) The sharp particles of "DT Earth" scratches insects as they walk over the fine powder. Sprinkle a fine layer around high traffic areas of bugs (baseboards windowsills and other crevices)
Results usually noticed within 5 days. Safe around pets but avoid inhaling powder when dispersing product. Do not apply on pets before consulting a Veterinarian.

Diatomaceous earth is made from the fossilized remains of tiny aquatic organisms called diatoms. Their skeletons are made of a natural substance called silica. Over a long period of time diatoms accumulated in the sediment of rivers streams lakes and oceans. Today silica deposits are mined from these areas.
